The Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa, Galway is only a few minutes walk from the city centre and boasts unrivalled views of Lough Atalia and Galway Bay. The hotel offers easy access to the Aran Islands and Connemara, and is close to the Galway (15-minute drive) and Shannon (75-minute drive) airports.

Renowned worldwide for its famous bay, its Claddagh ring, and its use of the Irish language, Galway is a booming city of about 70,000 people. A "town and gown" city, with two third-level educational institutions, Galway, or Gaillimh in Irish, dates back to 1124, and officially became a city in 1484, when it was granted a royal charter.

The 14 tribes of Galway, after whom our meeting rooms, boardrooms and suites are named, were responsible for building medieval Galway into Europe's most westerly trading port, attracting the attention of European merchants and the explorer Christopher Columbus.
